Frank Apel, member of the management board, has left the GEBHARDT Intralogistics Group on 30.06.2021 to take his well-deserved retirement. He filled his total of six years in the company with a lot of expertise and know-how as well as decades of experience in the areas of sales management, project management and customer service. In addition to his work as an authorised signatory for national sales, he decisively expanded the Retrofit & Modernisation department, making it even easier for customers to optimise and expand existing plants. He led more than 35 employees with commitment, reliability and knowledge for years and thus contributed significantly to the success of GEBHARDT.
With his departure, the departments Sales National and After-Sales-Service, for which he was responsible, will be continued independently by the department managers. Thus, Rolf Eder and Philipp Sigmann will from now on report directly to the management. Thomas Engelhardt who is responsible for the Project Management department will from now on report to Dr Wilfried Kugler.
"With his move to us, Frank Apel not only brought new ideas and experience to the company but also as a person inspired many employees for the industry. A very valued colleague and friend who lived for us and intralogistics is leaving us. We thank him for his motivation, his commitment and great conversations", says Fritz Gebhardt, Managing Director of GEBHARDT Intralogistics Group.
